The Backstabbing French – Opinions From E. Curtis Johnson

While the United States is contemplating new sanctions against Russia for aggression in the Crimea, one of our NATO allies, France, is preparing to sell advanced helicopter assault ships to Russia.  Apparently the Rooskies have never heard the joke, why do French Admirals sail on glass bottom boats? So they have a good view of their fleet! But I digress.

The French have a reputation for surrendering quickly, but they refuse to back down on the deal. What an odd time for France to grow a backbone. Apparently, France has to sell a lot of over priced wine, cheese, and elevator rides on the Eifel Tower to make up for a $1.2 billion weapons cancelation.
