Politically Correct Brain Freeze – Opinions From E. Curtis Johnson

Gun buybacks aren’t new. However, Marin County’s District Attorney, Ed Berberian, is offering Ben & Jerry’s ice cream in exchange for toy guns and violent video games. Berberian admitted on local radio that there have been no incidents related to dangerous toy guns or violent video games.  I wonder if a kid can get free Ben & Jerry’s if he just makes his thumb and index finger into the shape of a gun?

Political correctness gives me brain freeze, but I love when political correctness backfires. Ice cream has fat and sugar and is unhealthy for children. The District Attorney shouldn’t encourage childhood obesity. Ice cream is also made from milk. People shouldn’t drink milk because cows live in inhumane conditions and have been reduced to nothing more than lactating slaves! One of the buyback locations is a Ben & Jerry’s store at a shopping center. Gee, liberals are right: Corporations do control politicians!
