Hacked Off About Being Hacked – Opinions From E. Curtis Johnson

Last week began with breaking news of hacked cloud accounts full of nude photos of naked celebrities. By midweek we received reports of hackers accessing HealthCare.gov. and uploading malware into the systems that controls Obama Care. By the end of the week, reports came out about a worldwide network of cyber criminals hacking JPMorgan Chase, America’s largest bank, and downloading the information to a city in Russia.

I consume a lot of news, but I had to dig to find the story about Obama Care being hacked. Apparently, nothing on the cloud or in computers is impenetrable.

My name is E. Curtis Johnson. Which one of these stories did you hear the most about or pay the most attention to? I don’t know if the answer reveals what you and I are as individuals or what society considers important or both.  If you have an answer to this question, no need to give it now.
