Disrobing Judicial Bias – Opinions From E. Curtis Johnson

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg made a statement on Thursday that proves that “blind justice” is a ruse. Fearing that the right will take control of the Senate in November, many on the left want Ginsburg to retire so President Obama can win approval of another liberal justice. Ginsburg rebuked her critics by saying, “So tell me who the president could have nominated this spring that you would rather see on the court than me?"

Aside from being extreme arrogance, her statement is evidence and an admission that the symbol of the Supreme Court, Blind justice, a blindfolded woman holding a scale, is a farce. I’d say the same thing if the tables were turned and Justice Scalia had made such a comment.

My name is E. Curtis Johnson. You be the judge. Do you believe Supreme Court Justices make rulings on evidence or the preconceived partisan opinions they brought with them into their appointment? America doesn’t have the courage to disrobe Supreme Court judicial bias because the naked truth is too ugly to look at.
