Billings Breaks the Snowfall Record!
We did it. We finally broke the record. Now, let's move on to Spring once and for all.
I was live on the air during our statewide radio show "Montana Talks" a little after 9 AM on Monday morning when I noticed the rain turning into snow.
Shortly after 10 AM, Tom Frieders with the National Weather Service office in Billings confirmed: the city of Billings has set a new record for snow.
Frieders told me that as of the 10 am report, they called the airport, recorded a tenth of an inch of snow, "so the record is broken."
