Several news sources report attendance at Colorado Symphony Orchestra performances is suffering. To attract new audiences and revenue, the orchestra will ask Colorado’s growing pot industry for sponsorships.  The concerts will be called, “Classically Cannabis: The High Note Series.” I’m not making this up. The orchestra could attract a more diverse and younger audience while pot related companies enjoy the legitimacy of association with the symphony.

420 Soil, a company that sells dirt and pot cultivation products is interested in a sponsorship. Pepsi’s put Beyonce’s face on soda cans, maybe Zig Zag could put Mozart’s image on rolling papers?

My name is E. Curtis Johnson. What does one wear to, “Classically Cannabis,” a tuxedo or a tie-dye?  Colorado’s idea could change the future of classical music. Envision this: at the end of Tchaikovsky’s, “1812 Orchestra,” instead of firing real cannons, meth labs will explode!
