Many people think I’m a Libertarian. I am not. I reject any political definition beyond being a conservative and have no membership in any political party or group. I once lived in a city that enforced jaywalking laws, but not street walking laws.

Many libertarians think prostitution is a victim-less crime. I will not identify with a political philosophy that condones a practice that I believe exploits people. Reuters reports an FBI dragnet around private Super Bowl parties saved 16 juveniles, ages 13 to 17, from enslavement in prostitution rings.

According to United Nations data, human trafficking is a $32 billion global problem involving prostitution and forced laborers; an estimated 2.5 million people are victims of human trafficking.
