Seven Billion People Aren’t Enough – Opinions From E. Curtis Johnson [VIDEO]
We’re number 2! We’re number 2! On Thursday, The United States became the 2nd largest world economy behind China. By 2030, India’s economy will become the world’s second largest and America will move to 3rd. The change is partially the affect of declining birth rates on economics. Succeeding generations pay the retirement bills of the older generation. Germany, Japan, Russia, and Taiwan pay couples to have children. The U.S. government doesn’t need to pay mothers. We have executive orders on immigration to take care of the future. Despite the notion that the 7 billion people on Earth are too many, we’re not replacing ourselves fast enough. The United States birth rate is only 1.86. We needed a birth rate of 2.1 to pay for Social Security. The politically incorrect idea of fewer children and a decreasing population is bad economic policy. I’m E. Curtis Johnson. The Duggar family is excoriated for having lots of kids. Don’t mock too hard. They’re the children who will pay our retirement costs when we need it. Oh, the irony!
