Roberts’ Superintendent Changes Story
Q2 reports the Roberts boys basketball coach accused of an inappropriate relationship with a female student continued working on school grounds for about a month after criminal charges were filed, according to the school superintendent. 35-year-old John Payovich was charged on August 16th with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child for the relationship Carbon County prosecutors report he had with a 15-year-old girl. Roberts’ Superintendent Alex Ator initially said he’d learned of the charges from a Q2 reporter, but changed his story on Thursday.
