BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — An 18-year-old Lame Deer man died of injuries suffered after he was hit by a vehicle in Rosebud County over the weekend.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the collision happened at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 212. The victim died at Indian Health Services in Lame Deer. His name hasn't been released.

The Billings Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/Hwm800 ) the sport utility vehicle suspected of hitting the man was found at about noon on Saturday. It was not clear if the suspected driver, a 42-year-old Lame Deer man, had been arrested.

The investigation is being handled by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the FBI.
