Lookin' At You Libertarians...Rand to Montana

You might have missed this buried inside the big announcement that Donald Trump, Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle will be doing a big pre-election barnstorming tour across Montana: also making the visit is Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY). Why is this significant? Let me explain.

Remember when the dirty tricks of the Montana Democrat Party and liberal judges booted the Green Party from the ballot? Republicans were hoping that this would at least balance out the ballot: left-leaning voters could vote against the number one recipient of lobbyist cash Jon Tester by voting for a Green Party candidate. Libertarian-leaning voters could vote in support of a Libertarian candidate.

So why is it significant that Rand Paul is coming to Montana? It's not just that Rand Paul is influential among Libertarian voters- it reinforces the fact that Matt Rosendale has also been popular among Libertarian voters.

HELENA, Mont. – The Matt Rosendale for Montana U.S. Senate campaign today announced details for the Montana Victory Tour, an 8-stop multi-city bus tour, with Donald Trump Jr, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Rep. Greg Gianforte, Senators Steve Daines and Rand Paul, and Chairman Debra Lamm.

“Don Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle are always welcome back to Montana and we’re excited to hit the campaign trail and tour the state together,” said Matt Rosendale. “The enthusiasm on the ground is incredible right now and this tour is only going to strengthen our momentum as we rally supporters to lead us to victory and defeat Jon Tester this November."
