Would Montanans Welcome Canada as the 51st State? The Answer
What would Montanans think about Canada becoming the 51st state in the United States of America?
I think I have a good idea of the answer based off some of the feedback we have been getting.
How did this topic come up? Far left Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in the news. He announced that he will be stepping down as prime minister. This, as President Donald Trump had spent most of the holidays epically trolling Trudeau about Canada becoming the 51st state of the US.
To top it off, Donald Trump, Jr is on the ground in Greenland. John Jackson, the Joker from X, joined us on the radio and was telling us how Don Jr. had landed in Greenland. He also told us how Denmark would be ok with the people of Greenland choosing to no longer be under Danish control. Then, President Trump himself called Don Jr as he was meeting with people in Greenland. Trump wants Greenland to be part of the USA.
So, that's what all got folks calling in with their opinions about Canada potentially becoming a state. Here's how I would sum up what a lot of Montanans are saying: if it was just Alberta and Saskatchewan etc, that'd be cool. They're more freedom and agriculture oriented with a respect for folks who live out in rural environments. The problem with Canada comes in when you start pulling in the Leftist voters on their East and Left coasts...just like we already have problems with some folks on the East and Left Coasts in America already. Why could that be bad? You could basically hand the Democrats two more seats in the United States Senate and much more.
That being said, I think we all get a kick out of Trump putting the pressure on the tyrant to the north- Justin Trudeau.
