Play Ball, Great News for the Glacier Range Riders in Kalispell
After a swing and a miss from the Biden Interior Department, the federal government is now dropping it's lawsuit against the Glacier Range Riders baseball team in Kalispell.
(By the way, if you've never been to the ballpark north of Kalispell- it's an incredible facility)
Montana's Western District Congressman and Former Trump Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke (R-MT01) shared the news:
Rep. Zinke: Great day for the Range Riders! The previous administration’s weaponization of the federal government against Kalispell’s family owned minor league baseball team was the worst case of federal overreach I’ve seen. I have been on their side fighting the feds on this every step of the way. I’m glad to see this case has been dropped and the Range Riders can get back to what they do best, winning games and giving families a great summertime activity.
For the backstory, here's the photo we shared with a story from back in April of 2024 headlined "Nuts: Biden Interior Dept. is Suing a Baseball Team in Montana."
Not only was Zinke weighing in against the absurd lawsuit by the Biden Administration last year, it also caught the attention of Wyoming Congresswoman Harriet Hageman (R-WY). Last Spring, I was chatting with her and asked if she had heard about this logo dispute between the Biden Interior Department and a baseball team in Kalispell, Montana.
"It shows you that we are being governed right now by unserious people, and it also demonstrates that they have far too much time on their hands and far too much money to spend." That's what she told me in response, and she was spot on.
