Montana’s Tim Sheehy First to Fight for Trump in New Ad

As Politico Playbook reported Monday morning, Navy SEAL veteran and Montana US Senate candidate Tim Sheehy (R-MT) is the FIRST candidate in the country to come out swinging in defense of President Donald Trump.

Here's the ad that the Sheehy camp just put out against liberal Senator Jon Tester (D-MT).  

Transcript: "I'm Tim Sheehy and I approve this message." Narrator- "It's lawfare- a state sponsored political persecution led by Joe Biden and the radical left. They want to throw Trump in jail- trying to rob Americans of their choice in the election. And Jon Tester is standing right by their side. Tester's even advocated for violence against President Trump." (Tester soundbite) 'But I think you need to go back and punch him in the face.' Narrator- "And Tester voted to impeach President Trump. Twice. Jon Tester supported Joe Biden's witch hunt every step of the way."

Politico also highlighted how Tester is cowardly hiding from commenting in any serious way on this story: "The ad underscores how bullish Republicans are about capitalizing on the verdict, particularly in red states where Trump is overwhelmingly popular and Democratic incumbents like Tester and Ohio’s SHERROD BROWN have been treading lightly around the news. 'They don’t want to touch this with a 10-foot pole,' one GOP campaign operative told us."

Last week, Politico also had a story about "why some Senate Dems aren't reveling in Trump's conviction. Mike Berg with the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) said, "Because their kangaroo court is backfiring with the American public."
