When RFK, Jr. was announced as President Trump's nominee to head up the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, I knew one of the first people to reach out to would be Dillon, Montana rancher Bryan Mussard.

He is a former Montana Stock Growers President and markets his Reminisce Angus Beef products from his ranch in Beaverhead County.

A while back, Mussard was telling me about how RFK, Jr. is going to change this country. He told me how he is in daily contact with RFK, Jr. and how FRK plans to Make America Healthy Again by getting the USDA to stop discriminating against beef.

So what does a potential RFK cabinet seat mean for Montana ranchers?

Bryan Mussard: "It's even bigger than beef- just saturated fat. President Trump wants to see measurable difference in two years. The quickest way to do that is to replace all the seed oils in the broilers, in the boilers, excuse me- in the fryers across this country with tallow. That takes the discounts on yield grade fours and fives away. It helps the dairy industry, hog industry, the chicken industry. It helps everybody. And that's the quickest way to make people healthy, too. The number one driver of heart disease and diabetes and obesity is seed oils. It blocks so many things. It's not good for our system. And that's been done on purpose, and RFK has been the only person that can get to a spot and help change that that I've dealt with in 40 years."

What do he and RFK talk about?

Bryan Mussard: "We just go back and forth on stuff...I've been working really hard to get one specific person into the USDA or into the HHS, to get- and I cannot mention any names right now- but there's one person in our country that can change this whole, that understands the science, has more data than anybody, and he's he's just carried that forth. We were gathering heifers last week, and he's on the phone, texting me back and forth and getting that person in that spot. So that's really exciting."

They also talk trade, federal lands, and more. Full audio with Bryan can be heard below.
