With the Montana Legislature up and running, the Montana Electric Cooperatives' Association (MECA) is hosting their annual "Co-op Day at the Capitol" event in Helena on Monday, January 20th.

It's always a great time to meet your lawmakers, check out the capitol, and get a chance to meet all of the folks from the co-ops all across the state. Plus, they usually get everybody together for a meal around lunchtime in the rotunda.

I'll be at the Montana Capitol previewing the event with a LIVE statewide radio show this Friday, January 17th. (Then I'll be at President Trump's inauguration in DC...followed by a LIVE radio show on Capitol Hill in DC...and then 3 days of coverage at the SHOT Show in Vegas) For Friday's show, we will have expert guests from the electric co-ops and open mics for anyone who wants to join us on the radio.

As a reminder:

"Co-op Day at the Capitol" is Monday, January 20th

Montana Talks with Aaron Flint LIVE radio show is Friday, January 17th.

For Friday's show: I'll be broadcasting LIVE from the 3rd floor "fan window" area of the capitol just above the rotunda floor. I'll have a table set up. I'll have some mics set up. And ANYONE can come join us on the microphone- Democrats, Republicans, Helena area-listeners, citizens lobbying the legislature...you name it.

When can you join us on the air? My best advice- the earlier the better, as our statewide 9 a.m. hour will fill up with guests VERY quick. Plus, we definitely want to free up some time for our friends from MECA to join us. I'll be there as early as 6 a.m. for our Billings, Bozeman, Butte area listeners. Starting at 8, the Flathead and Great Falls area listeners join in. Then the rest of the state will hear you at 9. Click here for the full station listing. We can also chat with you earlier in the morning and then hopefully re-air a portion of the audio for our statewide audience or our websites.
