Border Patrol Union Leader Confirms Our Suspicions in Montana

When I told a national Border Patrol union leader what we were hearing back here in Montana about the Northern Border, he confirmed it. Paul Perez, the President of the National Border Patrol Council recently joined us on Montana Talks with Aaron Flint.

We were talking about the first 6 months of President Donald Trump's administration, and how successful the president has been with securing our Southern Border.

Let's start there.

Paul Perez: "Within the first month, President Trump did more in those 30 days than President Biden and his administration did in the four years that they created a chaotic border. So right now compared to where we were a year ago, it's completely different. It's a lot better. It's a lot more secure. It's the most secure that we've ever seen it in my entire career."

Later on in the conversation, Perez was telling us how Southern Border agents were not allowed to do their jobs and protect this country from illegal aliens invading this country. Instead, they were being diverted to simply process the paperwork to allow these people into our country.

I heard the same thing on our Northern Border. we had tipsters telling us that Northern Border resources were being diverted, and even some of them were forced to remotely work and process the paperwork for illegal aliens on our Southern Border. And now we've got problems, of course, on our Northern Border as well.

Paul Perez: "Yeah, you know that was a direct result of the direction given by the Secretary of Homeland Security and Commissioner of CBP at the time (under Biden). Who are long gone. Thank goodness, you know that there they went out with the previous administration. But yeah, they had all these Northern Border agents logged into computers virtually processing people that were on the Southwest Border. Because again, we were so inundated. We were so flooded with the amount of people that Biden had allowed in, so we had to bring those guys physically here to process, and then those that remained- get them behind a computer to virtually process. And so in my career, we had never seen what I saw happen there. You know, you had certain parts of the Northern Border that were being flooded with illegal alien crossers that we actually had to send southern border agents to back them up on the Northern Border, something that I've never seen happen in my career. And so they lost complete control of the border, and they refused to acknowledge it up until the very end. At the very end, they tried to change a few things, but it was far too gone. The border was far too gone. They had allowed millions of people into the country, and it just- it crashed on them. It helped President Trump win the election, because he was able to show exactly the chaos that they created and how he would fix it. And he did it in a month."

We also talked about all of the resources being delivered thanks to the "One Big Beautiful Bill."
