Infant Lifeflighted to Salt Lake City
An 8-month-old was transported by Lifeflight to a hospital in Salt Lake City after the infant was ejected from a vehicle during a wreck and pinned under the car in Downtown Billings on Monday at the intersection of North 31st Street and 2nd Avenue North. A 59-year-old Billings man in a van failed to yield the right of way. The van struck the passenger side of an oncoming SUV, causing it to overturn. A good Samaritan lifted the vehicle enough to remove the infant, who suffered several fractured bones. The baby is listed in “stable” condition.
