It's been so humbling and inspiring get out across the state with our friends from Americans for Prosperity-Montana.

If you haven't heard me talk about it yet, we've been holding information sessions about how inflation and the economy just aren't working for so many Americans. In some cases, we literally covered 24 percent of their restaurant bill, before tip — the portion attributable to inflation since January 2021.

We hit small-town Montana, and we hit the biggest city in the state. We hit a farm expo in Plentywood, a Kava bar in Billings, and the grocery store in the heart of the Crow Reservation.

People have been so thankful that we were there to provide a little relief from all of the inflation that is hitting their pocketbooks. The more we get out across the state, the more we realize how many of our fellow Montanans still believe in the American dream. They feel the average hard-working American should be able to support their family and live a good life, but right now, there's just so much working against them.

It feels good to know that I'm not only talking about this on the radio, but I'm also working toward real change by partnering with Americans for Prosperity-Montana.

We need to reignite the American dream, but it might take a little work to do it.
