50 Homes Lose Power Near Laurel

About 50 homes north of Laurel lost power for much of Saturday due to weather problems. Officials with the Yellowstone Valley Electric Co-op say some overhead wires became wrapped around each other, causing a short that knocked out power for about eight hours. The fix was quick, but service crews needed extra time to reach the outage site.
