United Blood Services Commemorates 9/11 With Blood Drive In Billings
It's the 12th anniversary of 9/11 and our hearts are are heavy for those that were affected by loss of family members, friends, co-workers and more in the attack on the World Trade Center Towers, Pentagon and Flight 93. While our hearts grieve for those that have suffered such an awful loss, here in Billings, there is one non-profit business that is going a step further than most.
Today, United Blood Services is hosting their 5th Annual "Honoring Our Fallen Heroes" blood drive at the 1st Interstate Operations Center. This event has been growing every year and hopefully will continue in its growth.
From singing our National Anthem in the morning and dedicating it to our Fallen Troops, Troops on the Field, Troops here at home and our veterans, feeding all donors with a great selection of food donated by other businesses, to remembering all of Montana's own lost soldiers, United Blood Services reminds us to remember our "Fallen Heroes" and all of the sacrifices they have made for us. Today they are asking for blood donations in their honor.
