This Weekend: Birds, Books and The Beatles
Besides the many Easter Egg Hunts and Easter Brunches going on this weekend, here are some other activities and events happening around Southeastern Montana.
Audubon Center Open House
Montana Audubon Center invites you to explore and enjoy the landscapes, birds and wildlife on Saturday (4/20) from 11am to 3pm. Canoe rentals will be available for $10 an hour or free to members.
Ask a naturalist your essential questions about animals and

65th Anniversary of Yellowstone County Museum
An open house will be held from 10am to 5pm on Saturday (4/20) at the Y.C.M. to celebrate 65 years of "preserving, protecting, and interpreting the natural history and diverse cultures of the Yellowstone Valley and the Northern Plains." Located at 1950 Airport Terminal Circle, admission is free and airport short term parking tickets will be stamped at the museum for free parking.
Our anniversary celebrates an exhibit dedicated to the early Emergency Services of Yellowstone County. Other current exhibits include a tribute to the Billings Baseball Preservation Society, the involvement of our brave Yellowstone County soldiers in WWI, historically significant firearms of the region, and “Waiting for the Earth to Move” – the nation’s largest public display of Ghost Dance regalia. -YCMHistory.org
Volunteer Fair
In celebration of Earth Day, Lucky's Market (1603 Grand Ave.) will host a Volunteer Fair on Saturday (4/20) from 11am to 3pm. Connect with local non-profits to learn how you can help make our community even better.
Book Sale in Red Lodge
The Friends of the Library will host their monthly book sale on Saturday (4/20) from 12noon to 4pm at Carnegie Library located at 8th Street and Broadway in Red Lodge. Held every third Saturday, entry is free to look through all the treasures filling the library basement. Get more information by calling 406-446-1905.
Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles (Monday 4/22)
It's the best of Abbey Road performed LIVE this Monday night at MetraPark. Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles is a "mind-blowing performance takes you back in time with the legendary foursome" and according the Associated Press is "the next best thing to seeing the Beatles."
