A winter storm warning in effect for western Montana, with gusty winds and possible blowing and drifting snow throughout the area.

The National Weather Service has issued a 'Winter Storm Warning' for all of western Montana, due to the joining of a moist system and an arctic cold front, accompanied by strong winds.

The remnants of a major Pacific storm rolled through Western Montana last night leaving snow on the ground and frigid wind-chill temperatures through mid-week.
