They say time will ease your pain, but it delayed the inevitable in one Wyoming poaching case.

A little hard to take if an animal lover.

While not endangered species, these are incredibly rare in Montana and the US. Unfortunately, someone has poached one of these magnificent animals in our state.

Because grizzly bears are listed as “threatened” under the federal Endangered Species Act, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service appeal and Peta are coming together to offer a monetary reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the suspected poaching.

The cause of death was not immediately known, but poaching was a possibility.

A 23-year-old Montana man faces 24 criminal charges, including eight felonies, involving the illegal killing of three elk in August.

A member of the public reported the deer poached last Thursday.

Authorities say the animals poached by Schuhen included three bull elks and a buck antelope.
