The submariner crew from the USS Montana is on the ground in Western Montana this week. We caught up with the crew from the KJJR Radio studios in Kalispell Tuesday morning.
The storms and atmospheric rivers that have been invading the entire northwest of the country, isn't skipping Montana mountain ranges. Avalanche danger has risen significantly and may continue to rise this week for several counties and their Montana mountain ranges.

Two of the students who organized the protests against mandatory mask policies in the Kalispell public schools joined us Thursday morning on the radio. Kate Opre is a junior at Glacier High School. We were also joined by Sierra Vickrey, a junior at Flathead High School.

I took my new camper out for a test run a couple weekends ago and had a blast. It got me thinking- what am I going to do for my first 5 trips this summer? In no particular order, here it goes...
Update: We had such an incredible turnout (35 businesses called in or got a shout out) for our "We Open Wednesday" show last week that I thought- why not do it again? That's right. I'm calling it "we open" Wednesday. We don't have time for proper grammar. It is urgent that we support these local Montana businesses in the middle of this crisis.
