Montana’s mandatory boat inspection sites have been intercepting watercraft with invasive mussels at an alarming rate, according to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.
A landowner in Yellowstone County reported the dead rabbits to the Fish, Wildlife and Parks staff, who said that the rabbits appear to have been domesticated.
Hagen says state wildlife officials were called to kill the animal because immobilizing and relocating mountain lions in urban areas is not feasible or safe.
