We caught up with Perry Pendley to talk about the historic conservation gains delivered by the Trump Administration, and the positive work that would be undone if the Trump Administration's critics are able to overturn recent decisions.

Acting Director of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) William Perry Pendley took to the opinion page of The Denver Post to highlight his strong record of defending Western interests. He also reaffirmed the Trump Administration's opposition to selling or transferring federal land.

Perry talked about moving more BLM jobs back West- including Montana. He also addressed critics on the Left who claimed that he would seek to transfer federal land back to the states. And- we got his take on the American Prairie Reserve.

On Monday, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation announced a gift of over 1,000 acres near Dillon that will permanently protect critical elk habitat.

Many western states have investigated the potential of transferring federally managed lands to the states. For its part, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is taking a stand against such policies.
