‘Star Wars: Episode 7′ Bringing Back C-3PO? We Wouldn’t Be Surprised
It's important to note that most, if not all 'Star Wars: Episode 7' talk at this point is unofficial chatter -- Harrison Ford seems to "think" he'll be coming back, everyone seems to "think" the new trilogy will focus on the children of Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo and Princess Leia, etc. That said, the latest 'Star Wars' alum seemingly throwing his name into the pool is our second favorite droid C-3PO. (Obviously R2-D2 is our favorite).
Anthony Daniels has faithfully portrayed the robot in the six 'Star Wars' movies, and now he's teased that he could be coming back for 'Star Wars: Episode 7.' Digital Spy caught up with him and questioned him about a possible return, to which he stated:
Look, it's all very early days and I don't want to wear anybody out by speculating or letting you waste your energy by saying 'What do you think?' I'm certainly not sitting by the phone, but it's always nice when it rings. Do you know what I mean?
We don't have to tell you that's not much to go on, though the actor continued by saying the prospect of a 'Star Wars: Episode 7'-led trilogy is "wonderful." And, again, though it's still early in the development stages, we couldn't imagine a 'Star Wars' movie without at least one of our beloved droids. C-3PO has endured everything, why wouldn't he be up for another adventure?
What do you think? Do you want to see C-3PO back in the game for 'Star Wars: Episode 7'? What other classic 'Star Wars' characters would you like to see? Sound off in the comments.
