Hapless Oakland Raiders Reduced to Burying Footballs at Practice
The Oakland Raiders stink. And the antics of newly-hired interim coach Tony Sparano will only make them more of a laughingstock.
Forget fixing the offense or creating a killer defense -- Sparano's first item on his to-do list with the Raiders was burying a football in a hole as a way of putting the team's brutal 0-4 start -- which cost head coach Dennis Allen his job -- in the past.
It's a nice, albeit odd sentiment, one you may expect to see in high school. And knowing how inept the Raiders are, we wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they forgot to order more footballs, leaving them no way to practice.
