Missing Missoula Mom Found Safe in Spokane
The search for a young Missoula mother that disappeared in early September has ended with good news.
"About a week ago, friends reported 25-year-old Erin Miller missing from Missoula," said Missoula Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Brenda Bassett. "We found out yesterday, I got a text about midnight, that she had been found safe in Spokane."
There are still lots of questions, but although Missoula detectives are in communication with Spokane authorities there does not appear to be any criminal investigation.
'I don't think we have an active investigation per se, but they are trying to figure out what the context was surrounding her being gone. I know a lot of friends reached out and were worried and then, come to find out, she was just in Spokane."
The one-year-old boy was safe with his father during the disappearance. Miller had been missing since last Thursday, September 3.
