Right after we wrap up our coverage of the presidential inauguration and then Capitol Hill on Tuesday, we'll head straight to Las Vegas for the SHOT Show. What is the SHOT Show? Basically, it is the world's biggest gun and outdoor gear show...and there are some incredible Montanans in the house for that event.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): If you will be down at the SHOT Show in Vegas, I will be there Wed-Fri broadcasting LIVE from 5a-9a Vegas time/6a-10a Mountain time, with our statewide hour in that final, 4th hour. Come see us at the "Montana Talks" booth on Media Row. Or, message us on the Montana Talks app and we can try and link up later in the day.

Last year was probably our best show yet in all of the years we have now covered the SHOT Show. John Jackson, the Joker from X @pvtjokerus, will be sidekicking with me once again. We had Donald Trump, Jr. drop by and see us on day 1 of our coverage last year...and I would not be surprised to see him again. This guy is the real deal. And he loves guns, the outdoors, and the great state of Montana.

Day 2 of last year's SHOT Show coverage, we got to see the CEO of Brixtel Defense talking about the big news of the ammo manufacturing facility in Glendive, Montana. Day 3 we took you to the Bitterroot Valley and the UFC, and more.

Here's our SHOT Show preview for this year's show with AWR Hawkins, the 2nd Amendment correspondent for Breitbart News. We also heard the great story behind 82 Coffee Company in Dillon, Montana- one of our big SHOT Show sponsors making this coverage happen. Both interviews start towards the 2nd half of the below podcast.
