Did you guys hear about the old, rich, white guy who is coming to Missoula to complain about "oligarchs?" That's right, Bernie Sanders is coming later this month. But the carnival of crazy is already on full display with the anti Trump protests over the weekend.

Roy McKenzie with Western Montana News and Darin Gaub with the Montana Sentinel both did some great reporting over the weekend.

The Montana Sentinel covered the anti Trump protests in Helena: "It was one of the larger group therapy sessions Helena has hosted in a long time. Approximately 700 people gathered at the capitol building taking part in an organized protest against Trump and Musk/DOGE. It was one of numerous "Hands Off" protests planned nationally...Expected themes appeared, such as "hands off social security" and "defend democracy," (Social Security is not getting cut, and America is not a democracy)."

Roy McKenzie had this out of Missoula: "With signs proclaiming “Trump is Bad for my Mental Health,” “Hands Off My Queer Kids,” and a particularly graphic acronym spelling out “TRUMP” as “Toddler Rapist Uneducated Manipulator Pedophile,” the event doubled as a group catharsis session for a movement still reeling from its loss in the 2024 elections."

Conservative political consultant Jake Eaton made a great point on X about how all of these protests are paid for by far Left activist groups. "Why is it that every reporter is so fascinated with this paid political stunts? Imagine if the press covered real issues the way they cover lefty astroturf photo ops."

State Senator Jeremy Trebas (R-Great Falls) called the protests "The hands off our handouts rally."
