Another Fake Race Hate Hoax Exposed, This Time at Montana State
Another fake hate crime hoax has now been exposed, this time at Montana State University in Bozeman.
Do you guys remember reading stories about how threats were being e-mailed to an LGBTQ club on the MSU campus? And then, there were stories about an Asian American student receiving anti Asian messages as well. Turns out it all traces back to an Asian American student who publicly affiliated with the LGBT group. Surprise, surprise, surprise.
According to a liberal news service story shared by a Montana Non Stop Local TV station:
A man accused of emailing a death threat to the Queer Straight Alliance at Montana State University and sending vulgar images and slurs to a fellow student pleaded guilty Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Missoula....Rex Wu, 23, pleaded guilty in a plea agreement to felony cyberstalking with the intent to harass or intimidate.
And this is where it REALLY gets rich:
In the federal court case, Wu also admitted to harassing an MSU student, Alexandra Lin, who brought attention on campus to the threats against QSA and other unrelated discrimination incidents. On campus, however, Wu presented himself as aligned with Lin. Wu helped Lin plan an “Anti-Hate Teach-In” at MSU, according to court records. Wu served as president of the Chinese Culture Club at MSU and testified about the increase of hate crimes on college campuses to the Montana Board of Regents.
The MSU student who was FALSELY named in connection with the threatening messages, Dylan Dean, is now sounding off on X and will join us on Monday's Montana Talks statewide radio show with Aaron Flint.
Dylan Dean was part of the Young Americans for Liberty chapter on the MSU campus. He shared his full side of the story in a thread on X. "An old friend just pled guilty to a crime he attempted to frame me for. Absolutely wild. Total vindication, except in my choice of friends."
How many times have we seen this play out? Everybody remembers Jussie Smollett, the entitled Hollywood actor who claimed he was attacked by Trump supporters because he was black and gay. He faked the whole thing. And his hoax is FAR from isolated, as the Daily Caller reported a laundry list of hate crime hoaxes as long ago as 2019.
I wonder if left wing media outlets like this one will now apologize after falsely saying that MSU was "enabling right-wing attacks on students and faculty." (By the way, if any students have been attacked by staff and faculty at MSU- it is conservative students like Dylan Dean.)
The bottom line is this: Left wing groups use fake hate crime hoaxes like this all the time to advance their agenda, promote their events, and to gain sympathy for their cause. And a willing accomplice in the left wing biased media runs with the hoax every single time.
