Bears are SMART!

Many have figured out how to open car doors and figured out that most stores have automatic doors that will open when they get close.

In this case, the door was not automatic, just propped open because it was nice and cool out, so the owner wanted to let some fresh air in.

So they will just walk into a store and take what they want.

They don't need money, they just growl at anyone who tries to stop them.

At Tipton Gas Bar in Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island a big hairy shoplifter walks in for a late-night snack.

There was so much to choose from.

There were rows of cold sandwiches and fresh fruit.

But no, that would not do.

He sniffs around, looking for what might satisfy his cravings.

He wandered right past the cand bars.

So, what did he take?

A BAG OF GUMMY BEARS!

He walks out with the gummy bears and sits down in the parking lot to eat them.

DeGoesbriand told the Vancouver Sun,

This little bugger has the nerve to sit at the end of my driveway, look at me and eat it.

The bear was not aggressive.

Why would he be? Gummy bears make people happy.

I bet he would have been aggressive, like a little child, if someone had tried to take them from him.

With all that food there you think he might have wanted something besides junk food.

Well, who can second-guess our midnight snack cravings?

If you wake up with a hankering for gummies, you must have your gummies.

Did he really know what they were or did he just take something that looked interesting?

Does anyone speak bear?

I'd love to know the answer to that question.
