Every weekend in the spring and summer, Billings has yard sales scattered throughout the community.  Almost every street corner has a cardboard-box sign directing motorists to a nearby yard sale.  But if you care for those of us who struggle to not take their own lives, there is a special yard sale to peruse.

The organizers of the Out of the Darkness community walk for suicide prevention is hosting a fundraising yard sale this Friday and Saturday, June 7th and 8th from 8:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon.  Located at 2121 Lyndale Lane, the proceeds from this weekend will assist the program to reach out and pull those in despair from the edge.

Five on Black will donate 50% of the meal tab to Out of the Darkness.

Not a typo.  Half the cost you pay for the meals will go to Out of the Darkness to save lives.  So please get a party of your friends together for fancy dining and meaningful community support.  I will be there and would love to see a full restaurant and more waiting outside.  See you there.
