This is by far one of the hardest things I have ever had to write. This is Kealy and she was involved in a horrible life changing car accident. Not only is she my co-worker at my other job, but she is my friend. One of my best friends in the whole world.

I first met her when I myself went to Rimrock to get help for my addiction. She was my Care Coordinator in our Outpatient Department. She helped me navigate what new recovery would look like and how to do all the things.

Over a 2-year period of me leaving Rimrock services and becoming an employee, she was right by myside. I get to witness the miracle every day as she walks along with our clients as begin their recovery journey. She is an amazing councilor, friend, daughter, friend, and dog mom to Juno. Over the years we developed a beautiful friendship, and right now my friend needs all the help she can get.

She will have a very long recovery of her own and she needs all the help she can get as she navigates what life will be like moving forward. Anything helps.

I have been to the hospital daily to see her, and she keeps saying how much she wants to go back to work and is worried about all of her clients. She has the biggest heart and cares so deeply for everyone she encounters.

Please help in any way that you can as she navigates what life will be like moving forward. All of us at Rimrock Foundation will be right by her side and I sure hope that the community can be as well.

From her GoFundMe Page:

"Hello friends,
On Sunday, April 6th, Kealy was involved in a devastating accident. While driving home near Miles City, the car’s back tire blew, causing the vehicle to roll seven times on the interstate. She was airlifted to Billings for immediate medical care,
where she underwent multiple CT scans and MRIs.
Kealy has sustained a fractured rib, a bruised lung, and a punctured liver, all of which are being treated and are currently stable. Unfortunately, her legs were pinned by the steering wheel, causing her left kneecap to dislocate and severely damaging the main artery in her leg. Doctors spent 14 hours in surgery trying to save her leg, but due to the extent of the damage and the risk of kidney failure, they had no choice but to amputate her leg 5 inches above the knee.
Kealy is an incredible and selfless person, known for her work as an addiction counselor, where she has helped countless people turn their lives around. Her passion for supporting others has made a profound impact on the community.
Now, as she faces this long and challenging recovery, we want her to focus entirely on her physical and mental healing, without the added worry of financial burdens. All donations will go towards current and future medical bills.
Kealy has been unconscious throughout this ordeal, and her family has been by her side, praying for her recovery. Any support you can provide will help her on her road to healing, and we are so grateful for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time."
Big THANK YOU to her amazing team at the hospital. We appreciate all you have done more than you know. We love you Kealy. You. Got. This.
