Win Cat-Griz, Broncos-Raiders Tix in Support of Billings’ Parks

Two sets of questions.  First, do you like our parks in Billings?  Enjoy the peace and green grass and trees and the shade provided?

Second, are you a football fan?  Whether high school, college or pro, on TV or in the stands, where there's a game there's you?  Do you even experience withdrawals in the offseason?

If you said yes to both questions, Partners for Parks has an offer for you.

Who are Partners for Parks?

This organization had until recently been called the Billings Parks and Preservation Foundation.  Their mission is to establish, maintain and advance the great public parks and recreation facilities in Billings that we all can enjoy.  They have assisted with the development of several parks such as Riverfront, Amend, Swords, Frances and High Sierra.  This foundation helped organize the Billings Preservation Society to run Moss Mansion, and aided the beginings of BikeNet and the Yellowstone Kelly Interpretive Site.

Continuing this beneficial work requires capital, and that's where you come in.

Partners for Parks is hosting a raffle for fabulous prize packages:

Cat-Griz Box Seats

This game is a major reason to buy raffle tickets.  Not the high-altitude seats.  These are two box tickets to the game in Bozeman on November 23rd, with two nights lodging and a gift card to cover meals and concessions during the game.  Estimated value $1,600.

Broncos-Raiders in Vegas

This is one of the most heated NFL rivalries in the West.  This package includes two tickets to the game on November 24th at Allegiant Stadium.  Don't worry, Thanksgiving is four days later.  With the tickets will be three nights lodging, a voucher for $800 in airfare, and a gift card for meals and concessions.  Estimated value $3,600.

Fly Fishing at Montana Lodge

Should be the official State Casual Activity.  This is an all-inclusive adventure at the Montana Fly Fishing Lodge over two days and three nights.  This must be arranged within a year and blackout dates do apply.  Valued at over $6,000.

And There's More!

Gasoline for a year, valued $3,000.  Family membership to Granite Fitness for a year ($1,700).  And finally a side of beef from the J2 Bar Land and Livestock ($1,000).

the Raffle Details

Each ticket is $50 but only 2,000 tickets will be sold.  Better chances than the lottery.

Tickets must be purchased by September 15th

The drawing will be on Thursday, September 19th at the Mayor's Luncheon.  Need not be present to win.  Partners for Parks will contact the winners and distribute the prize packages.

Winners will be responsible to any applicable taxes on their winnings.
