Get Ready to Cuddle. ‘Manillla’ is Ready to Adopt in Billings Today
Meet Manilla, Billings' featured Wet Nose Wednesday Pet.
When Manilla, a four-month-old Australian Shepherd mix came into our studios this morning, her entire body was wiggling with excitement. This pup is one of the most lovey dogs we've ever met from Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter.
She'll be your best friend forever.
Barely older than a puppy, Manilla has a long life ahead of her to make tons of great memories with whoever decides to become her forever human. She came into the shelter as a stray, with no microchip. Reminder: Chip your pets. It's only $20 at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter, no appointment necessary, available every day they're open.
Petting her is mandatory.
Manilla is one of those dogs that practically begs you to pet her. The affectionate pup will plop her body against your legs, rolling at your feet, with soft eyes that plead, "Please pet me."
Derek Wulf, Humane Outreach Coordinator at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter said that Manilla behaves exceptionally well in the car, and is likely great with respectful children. She didn't bark once during the 30 minutes or so she was in our building and she's very playful. The Aussie/Healer mix will likely weigh around 50 - 60 pounds when she's fully mature; a nice, medium-sized dog.

Sad news, last week's Wet Nose Wednesday dog is still available.
Last week we met Peyote, a slightly rambunctious mixed-breed dog. Derek told us today that Peyote is still looking for his forever home. Check him out on the link below. You can browse all of the pets currently available for adoption at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter HERE.
