The ski season in Montana usually ends in early or mid-April because the snow is bare.
What some folks might not know is Montana has a summer ski area.
What does that mean?
This ski area sees so much winter snow that they wait until spring to plow the roads to reach the basin. That means you can shred snow while rocking shorts and a tank top.
Where is this place? It's Beartooth Basin.
Beartooth Basin is open from Memorial Day Weekend through July 4th but sadly didn't open this year due to a lack of snow.
Those who have gone snowboarding or skiing at Beartooth Basin during the summer loved the atmosphere and the fun of the area for new and experienced skiers.
How would you like to own it?
Montana Right Now reports that Beartooth Basin is up for sale.
Beartooth Basin has been a summer skiing staple for decades and might not have the most runs, but it's a fan favorite among locals who want to shred powder in the summer.
The price isn't listed, but we guess it's worth a decent amount.
If you had the money, would you buy a summer ski area? It could be a fun business venture.
