Sentencing is set for July 18th, 2024, and Guevara continues to be held pending further proceedings.

From the Court Documents

In court documents and at the trial, the government claimed that Guevara conspired with others to distribute meth in Billings between July 2018 and December 2018. In July 2018, Montana Division of Criminal Investigation received information from Guevara living in Mexico who was selling meth through social media orders and arranging for someone in Billings to receive it, to complete the transaction.

Law enforcement got meth sent by Guevara in controlled purchases and increasing amounts. An undercover investigation revealed that Guevara would obtain meth in Mexico, then cross into the US using her U.S. passport, and finally mail the meth from a post office in San Ysidro.

Money collected from sales was wired to Guevara in Mexico. Border crossing details showed Guevara entered the US 20 times through San Ysidro Port of Entry between July 7, 2018, and October 18, 2018. She was arrested in 2023 when she crossed the border from Mexico.
