Yellowstone National Park is extremely popular especially during the summer. You will find people from all over the world on vacation, visiting the most beautiful place on earth.

What you will also find, is all types of wild life, most commonly, bison. Every year we hear about people getting way to close to wildlife attempting to get the photo of a lifetime, but I think people tend to forget that wild life are just that, wild. We are in THEIR home, and just like we would do our own home, they defend it.

Just over the weekend, there was another Bison gorging at Yellowstone National Park.

This time, the victim was an 83-year-old woman from South Carolina. The woman did suffer serious injuries. The woman apparently came within a few feet of the bison and the bison lifted the woman about a foot off the ground with its horns.

The woman did end up getting transported Lake Medical Clinic before being flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. We hope to hear of a speedy recovery for the woman.
