People in Red Lodge are on high alert right now. Police say they’re investigating reports of a man who has been “attacking and chasing” women in the evenings and at night. The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office shared a Facebook post confirming that officers are aware of both the recent reports on social media and the latest incident.
Woman Escapes After Nighttime Attack in Red Lodge
According to a post in the Red Lodge Buzz Facebook group, a woman was walking home around 9 p.m. when a man cut her off with his car. He got out and tried to grab her, but she had a taser and used it to get away. Thankfully, she escaped, but the suspect also got away.
Similar Incident Reported in July Raises Concerns
This isn’t the first time something like this has been reported. A post in the same Facebook group described a July incident when another woman was chased to her home. The description of the man in both cases sounds very similar, making police believe the two incidents may be connected.
