Alex Singleton is the most unique story of the Griz/Cats playing in this year's playoffs. Earlier this season, Singleton shared a cancer diagnosis. The Broncos linebacker had to undergo surgery the day after he played a National Football League game. That is insane toughness.

Other Montana Connections

Junior Bergen is wrapping up his rookie year with the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. Bergen didn't appear in a regular-season game and won't appear in the postseason run.

Former Griz and NFL player Colt Anderson is an assistant coach for the San Francisco 49ers. Obviously, he won't be playing, but will still be contributing to the NFL Playoffs.

Bozeman native Will Dissly will play in his third career playoff game this Sunday with the Los Angeles Chargers against the New England Patriots.
