You’ll Fall in Love with Valentine, Billings’ Featured Adoptable Dog
We're back with another Wet Nose Wednesday from Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter in Billings. Each week, we feature an awesome adoptable dog, and today's pup is a total sweetheart named Valentine.
Valentine is a two-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix with a gorgeous brindle coat. She's a medium/large dog who arrived at the shelter as a surrender. Derek Wulf, Humane Outreach Coordinator at YVAS, said Valentine enjoyed her car ride to our studios and loves humans.

You'll fall in love with this great dog.
It's unknown if Valentine gets along with cats, and according to Wulf, she might do best in a home without other dogs. She's been somewhat wary around dogs at the shelter. Valentine is a lively, intelligent dog, displaying several characteristics that are common with her breed.
The American Kennel Club describes Dutch Shepherds as "a loyal companion and competent working dog used for obedience, dog sports, herding, tracking, search and rescue, and as a police dog." Valentine will do best with an active family or individual who can keep her busy.
Adopt any adult dog at YVAS for just $10, now through May 12.
