When Does The Pumpkin Patch Open Near Billings?
The Pumpkin Patch & Farm Festival Returns to T&C Farms September 19
If it feels like summer is flying by in the Magic City, you’re not wrong. The first day of Fall is September 22. Soon, the leaves will start to turn, the mornings will be getting crisper, and one of our favorite family fall traditions will be back, the Pumpkin Patch at T&C Farms.
The family-owned farm in the Yellowstone River valley between Laurel and Park City (1927 Holstein Lane, 59044) has been busy all summer tending to more than 52 varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and squash.
The pumpkin crop is looking great this year.
“It’s been a busy summer of cultivating and irrigating the crop,” T&C Farms shared in a recent Facebook update. While several rounds of hail have rolled through the area, the damage was minimal. A few of the pumpkins have some weather scars from when they were just setting fruit, but most of them are already beach-ball size and still growing.
There are several places to purchase pumpkins in Billings and the surrounding area, but this one is my family's favorite. It's an authentic, old-school pumpkin patch experience, and it looks like it's shaping up to be another great harvest at T&C Farms.

The Pumpkin Patch & Farm Festival opens Thursday, September 19, at 9 AM and runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through October 24, from 9 AM until dusk. Guests can enjoy tractor-pulled hayrides, explore the corn maze, and pick their pumpkin straight from the patch.

Last year, my family mixed things up a little and visited another cool pumpkin patch just across the Wyoming border. It was a lot of fun, too. Link below.
