Bobcat Champs Taco and Caden Dowler Coming Home for Billings Meet-and-Greet
If you’re a Bobcat fan (or just someone who enjoys watching Montana kids do big things), you may want to circle February 14 on your calendar.
Fresh off a national championship run, Billings West grads Taco and Caden Dowler are coming home for a special appearance at the 2026 MATE Show at MetraPark. The Dowler twins will be signing autographs and celebrating Montana State’s FCS title with hometown fans on February 14th (Valentine's Day!) from noon to 2 PM inside the Expo Center.
Luke Bryan is officially headed to Billings, and before tickets ever hit the public on-sale button, Cat Country 102.9 is giving you a shot to win them first.

The Bobcats last won the national title in 1984.
Montana State capped off its season on January 5 with a dramatic overtime win against Illinois State, and Taco Dowler was right at the center of it. The junior wide receiver hauled in eight catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns in the title game, including the walk-off score in overtime that delivered MSU its first national championship since 1984. No pressure.

Caden Dowler was just as instrumental on the other side of the ball. The Bobcats’ defensive back piled up 91 tackles, a sack, and six interceptions during the 2025 season, two of which he returned for touchdowns.
Even after battling injuries late in the year and missing most of the championship game, Caden still earned FCS First Team All-American honors, Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year, and First Team All-Big Sky recognition.
Both brothers have already committed to returning to MSU for the 2026 season, which has Bobcat fans dreaming big once again.
The appearance is part of the MATE Show, produced by the NILE, which also includes the Home and Health Show and highlights the latest innovations in agriculture. It's the largest agritrade show in the region. The expo runs February 12 - 14 at MetraPark.
