Stubby Legs, Sweet Spirit. ‘Vogue’ is Ready for Adoption in Billings
Last Wednesday was somewhat of a rarity on Wet Nose Wednesday, when Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter brought us a fun-loving cat named Sally Skellington (we rarely get cats in the studio!). We mention this because today is National Cat Day, and if you're looking for a kitty, check out the shelter for your next feline friend.
Our featured Wet Nose Wednesday pet this week is a 10-month-old dog named Vogue. This sweet gal is a Corgi mix (possibly some Healer in there somewhere?). She arrived at the shelter as a stray, where staffers thought the modeling-inspired name was a perfect fit for this shy little dog.

She has short legs and a big heart.
Derek Wulf, Human Outreach Coordinator at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter, noted that Vogue is particularly wary around men. It always concerns me when dogs show fear around males. I always wonder to myself, "Do that many men treat dogs like crap?" It's a bit concerning, right?
Vogue is a sweet girl who enjoys car rides, treats, and gentle attention. She was quite calm during her in-studio visit, although that could be partly because she was nervous in unfamiliar surroundings.
Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter is now open at their temporary location at 6400 S. Frontage Road (in the warehouse adjacent to Lionheart Cannabis). They'll be participating in Scheels Trunk or Treat on Friday night; stop by and say hello if you're in the neighborhood.
