How Much is $100 Actually Worth in Montana?
You have $100 in your wallet. Does your dollar go further in Montana?
According to a site by the name of TaxFoundation.org, yes. Just a tad bit more, in fact. The website published a national map showing how much one-hundred dollars is worth in every state when you take into consideration the cost-of-living.
As an example, the highest value is in Mississippi where $100 goes for $115, whereas in the state of Hawaii it's only worth $86.00. Even worse, Washington D.C. is lower at $85.00.
In the state of Montana, $100 is valued at $105.93. Don't spend it all in one place!
