
Helena Man Arrested After 2-Year-Old Assaulted
GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — A 2-year-old girl is hospitalized in critical condition in Great Falls and a Helena man is in custody on suspicion of beating her.
Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton says the girl was taken to St. Peter's Hospital in Helena on Sunday and then flown to Benefis Health System for further treatment.
The Associated Press reports Timothy Hyman was arrested on a Lewis and Clark County warrant for aggravated assault. He remains jailed in Great Falls with his bail set at $100,000.
Dutton says the case is still being investigated.
