$600 Taken During Downtown Billings Daytime Robbery

Normally bar and casino robberies happen in the dark of night.  Andy's Bar, however was robbed just after lunch in Billings on June 24.  About 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon a masked man entered Andy's Bar in downtown Billings and held up employees and patrons at gunpoint.

The robber is on the loose with the $600 he stole from Andy's.  The suspect reportedly  carried a semiautomatic into the establishment and demanded cash.  Billings Police searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

According to witnesses, the suspect is described as a white man, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, thin build.  The man was also looks to be wearing a black or grey hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans and a ski-type mask.

No injuries were reported during the incident. An investigation is ongoing.
